Tours & Events 2008/9
ARRAS 2009
After the success of the tours to the Netherlands and Gallipoli in 2008, next years photographic tour will return to France to visit the area covered by the Battle of Arras of 1917 and areas of the Somme not covered on previous visits. The drive to Arras will include completing the 11400 graves at Etaples and any on the cross country route to Arras. It is envisaged that visits to places of interest like the tunnels under Arras will form part of the tour.
Although a full itinerary has yet to be produced it will take place over the weekend 15-18th May.
Costs have yet to be determined but if interested please contact Pauline on pauline@twgpp.org to secure your place.
Visit to the National Arboretum
In the Summer it is hoped to organise a visit to the National Arboretum at Staffordshire to see the Armed Forces War Memorial and other memorials within this prestigious site.
